Unions
Why is it that unions are always blamed when school boards and administrators don't do an adequate job of evaluating teachers? They have three years to make their evaluation and grant tenure or not. Unions are not responsible for this decision. They are only responsible for requiring that the teacher be given due process after tenure is granted. Until they have tenure, not even a reason need be given to fire a teacher.
Tyranny
The definition of tyranny, "government in which absolute power is vested in a single ruler." Hmmmm, that sounds a lot like what we have right now. Mr. Obama has decided that he is always right about everything. Anyone who has the audacity to disagree with him is automatically wrong and should be chastised. I do not dislike the office of president nor do I dislike the man personally, but I very strongly disagree with his policies. It is time for the voters of this country to stand up and elect someone who will work for the good of the entire country, not just for those who he thinks will get him re-elected.
Troops
Obama has declared a peace dividend and cuts a full division of active-duty combat troops that we can't afford. The next day, Iran starts war games in the Gulf and on the Afghan border. Obama waved the white flag; Islam has won. All the voters want is endless unemployment benefits and free food stamps.
Produce
Why are grocery stores carrying more produce from Mexico than the United States? We all need to step up to the plate and start supporting this country. We've lost enough jobs, and now our produce? Are there no farms in the United States that grow peppers and tomatoes?
Snowed
Cass Sustein, a student of Cloward and Piven, and all things socialist, and Obama's chief adviser, has you snowed with class warfare. If you receive a tax-refund check from the IRS or the state you live in, you do not pay taxes. The rich corporations do. Ask them to pay more, and they will take their business elsewhere. What part of the Clinton administration and Walmart do you not understand? The Clintons are the first presidential couple in history never to return home. Arkansas.
