Defeat incumbents
TO THE EDITOR: With New York State facing imminent bankruptcy with record unemployment and property taxes 70 percent above the national average, while the national media reports New York has the highest drop in population in the United States, this week the politicians in Albany stopped any effort to fix the worst economy in our lifetime. Instead our elected "leaders" filed no less than 28 separate bills that will take away our Second Amendment Rights.
These laws will do nothing to stop crime. These laws will not put one single New Yorker back to work. It is clear that in the face of an economic disaster, Albany's answer is to disarm the citizens. Their only other priority is gay marriage. It is also all too clear that both parties plan to continue business as usual and tax us all to death.
The revolution started with the Boston Tea Party. We can win the war for the soul of our nation in New York this November. All incumbents must be defeated. Only then can we send the message loud and clear that we want our country back!
