Gas
How can gas be cheaper in Cadyville, Saranac, and Redford? I mean, 15 cents a gallon cheaper. There is no way an independent station can offer it cheaper than someone that buys in bulk.
Driving
It’s not that nobody in the North Country knows how to drive; it’s that nobody is around to stop them from driving like idiots. How many times on Route 3 does someone pass you on a double line at 70 mph? Where are all our troopers?
Shifts
To the woman whose son works overnights with no sleep, then has to drive residents across town. I assume that he works the same eight-hour shift as someone during the day, and they have to drive at the end of their shift. He should sleep on his off hours.
Internet
As much time as I spend flying out of Plattsburgh’s airport you would think that maybe more than once I could access the free Internet that is widely advertised. I hope the companies provide better service to customers because you would be my last choice.
Dogs
There are no dogs allowed on school property. I can’t understand how people can be so negligent by allowing their dogs off leashes and walking around town with them. It’s dangerous for the animal, which could get hit by a car. Why aren’t these pet owners ticketed?
Tips
I live off my tips. They pay my bills and allow me to continue going to school in the evenings. I know you’re religious, but please don’t tip me with only a pamphlet telling me to turn to God and that he will handle everything. Will he pay my rent?

Trucks, vans and cars go down Pine Street, where many signs are posted “Do Not Enter” or “Wrong Way, One Way.” People think because they live just past the corner they can get away with going down a one-way. Install a camera and catch these people.
Medicaid
Another drug bust of people on Medicaid. When is New York state going to wake up and drug test these people. Get these people off the system, and then maybe we middle-class people can get the help we need.
