Airport
Our dear Plattsburgh International Airport. No wonder no one placed a bid on air service to the airport. So you were forced to extend the time by a week. What rinky-dink start-up airline do you have interested? Did you forget Cape Air; they treated passengers at your airport like kings and queens and what did they get in return? The shaft. Word gets around. If you had listened to the public, like you should have, being elected officials, your airport would not be in this position.
Candidates
The Republican field of candidates for president of the United States of America is a joke. No, actually a joke is supposed to be funny. All I feel is despair that one of these "politicians" could actually become president.
Workers
Farmers tell us they cannot find workers so they resort to illegals. I know of several healthy, young people on welfare who should be able to work for you. Farmers should pay them what they paid the illegals, and Social Services pay the balance of what these young people would get on welfare. They refuse or don't show up, cut them off. Also, all of them have vehicles. Some people will say this is socialistic, but these welfare people are in the social system capable of working but choosing not to. Enough is enough.
Open
The difference between Republican and Democratic candidates is Republicans have their affairs in the open before they are elected president. Not lie to the American people and get impeached for it after the oath of office, like your liberal hero Bill Clinton. Or John Edwards, who lied about a baby and an affair while his wife was dying of cancer. Are you sure you want to talk morals?
Chief
Why does the chief of police also act as fire department chief? Are there no other suitable candidates for this job, or is this a "financial" thing? I hesitate to ask the mayor for this information.
