What sets a bad example for kids is when town coaches cancel games for no reason. It is hard enough to get officials and fields without rescheduling. They also cannot coach alone; fellow parents need to help out.
Degradation
The only way women are degraded in porn is if they allow it to degrade them. Nobody holds a gun to their head; it is their choice to perform on camera and make money. That is their job. As for children, they should not be involved.
Porn
There is nothing wrong with watching porn in the privacy of your own home. That’s what the last person suggested. The Speakout was in reference to adult entertainment, responsible men and women — not children — who are paid to be on camera. Nothing at all wrong or harmful about it.
Noise
We need law enforcement to handle the problem with vehicles, motorcycles and cars, that exceed the legal decibel levels. The noise is getting worse, and something has to be done about it.
Practice
In response to the comments about town coaches playing the “good” kids: Parents, practice with your child at home. A little effort goes a long way. Coaches are not miracle workers, they only give players the tools to improve their skills.
