Life is wonderful for those who choose to make it so. It takes work to imagine one’s happiness, or a couple’s happiness together. But there are those whose lives are terrible by choice, who refuse to be happy with others, they have ended up with in some whiner’s choice. Peace!
CVES
CVES layoffs are understandable with schools taking kids back, but for CVES to say they offer the same classes, I think not. When you lay off staff that have been there for 20 or so years, things aren’t the same. Maybe administration should be cut in the business office.
Minutes
Why is it that CVES BOCES doesn’t have to post their Board minutes like every other school district or town on their website. They are a taxpayer-funded organization; what are they hiding?
Yard Sale
I was disappointed to see how many people had a sale at the Mooers Town Wide Yard Sale and did not have a Fire Department sign. The cheapskates who didn’t support the department should be ashamed of themselves. Next year if there is no sign don’t stop.
Cellphones
Jeers to parents who use their smartphones during sporting events?! Are you kidding? I’m at sporting events 3 to 4 times a week for my daughter. If I want to use my cell at a game, I will. Find something useful to put in Cheers and Jeers. Leave us dedicated parents alone!
Fathers
Fathers Day has gone by and some dads were left waiting for their daughters and sons to drop by, with at least a card. Are you so selfish and self-centered that you can’t even do that? Grow up: the world does not revolve around you.Your children learn by your example.
