Awesome

Cheers to all the people who worked so hard to put on the Medieval Fair. Thank you, and thank you Chateaugay for having it. What a beautiful park you have. What wonderfully nice people attended. I went on Friday, and it was awesome. Congratulations on a job well done.

Parking

There is a law in place that states “No Camping” and “No Overnight Camping” in parking lots around town. Then why aren’t the sheriff and the State Police not doing their job that we pay them to do?

Smiling

Not smiling leads to hate and fear, which then leads to violence. So smile, be polite and you will see great change in the world and in your heart. Be kind to one another. The world can use more of it.

Patience

Have patience behind farm vehicles and equiptment. Remember that milk in your cereal, coffee, ice cream, baby formula, etc., then salute that dairy farmer when you see them. Milk prices are down, yet they work just as hard, and their grain, gas and upkeep of the farm have all gone up.

Pushed

My family and I found a great stop at the parade but were quickly tossed to the side by a group of late comers who let their children stand in the middle of the road to catch candy. It was nearly impossible to see, very disrespectful and not safe.

Pools

To those speaking about pools with no fence, there is a pool with no fencing, nothing around the front, since the house that burned was removed, which was more than a year ago.

Clothing

I don’t agree with being gay, but I would never go out of my way to make someone feel uncomfortable about who they are. However, I do not agree with men dressed as women in the presence of young children, very inappropriate and questionable on the Plattsburgh parade committee’s part.

Fireworks

The firework display was great this year in Plattsburgh. Just when we thought it was over, it began all over again. Thank you for the free fun.

Trash

Would someone please tell me if it is OK to burn trash in the City of Plattsburgh. My neighbor pretends to be burning wood, but I smell plastic burning and who knows what else. Go to a campground if you want to have a campfire. Don’t punish me by making me close my windows so I get no fresh air.
