Dinner funds to help with heating

CHAMPLAIN — A roast beef dinner is planned from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 11 at Three Steeples United Methodist Church, 419 Route 11.

The menu includes roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, rolls and dessert.

The dinner costs $9 for adults, $5 for children 5 to 12 and is free for those under 5. The funds will benefit the local heating assistance program.

Annual Shrove Tuesday supper set

TICONDEROGA — The Episcopal Church of the Cross will host its annual free Shrove Tuesday all-you-can-eat pancake supper from 4 to 6 p.m. Feb. 21 at its 129 Champlain Ave. location.

The menu includes pancakes, sausage, applesauce, ice cream, coffee, tea, juice and milk.

The meal is free, and all denominations are welcome.
