Busy Bees to meet March 4
BEEKMANTOWN — The Beekmantown Busy Bees Senior Group meets next at noon Thursday, March 4, with a pot-luck meal at the Beekmantown Town Hall.

Also at that meeting, the group will plan its spring dinner and summer activities.

Bereavement Group to begin Monday
PLATTSBURGH — A Bereavement Support Group will meet for 10 bimonthly sessions at Hospice of the North Country, 43 Durkee St., beginning Monday, March 1, continuing through June.

Sessions are scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. the first and third Mondays of the month)

"At times, it may be difficult to talk with family and friends for fear of burdening them with your emotions," a press release said.

The support group is open to those who have experienced the death of a loved one. It offers support and education about grief and loss and the opportunity to meet others who are grieving.

Participants "will explore thoughts and feelings about grief, share memories and receive emotional and spiritual support in a caring and supportive environment," the release said.

"This experience is most beneficial to those who have been journeying with their loss for at least four to six months."
