Town offering trip to Saratoga

SARATOGA — The Town of Plattsburgh is sponsoring a senior trip to the Saratoga Gaming and Raceway on Feb. 15.

The town will provide the coach bus, which will be leaving the Champlain Centre mall parking lot in front of Sears at 9 a.m. and will leave the raceway at 3:30 p.m. to return home.

The cost is $15 per person and includes $20 Free Play and lunch at the Garden Buffet. Pre-registration and pre-payment are mandatory. Registration and payment will be taken for Town of Plattsburgh residents only until Feb. 7. If there are seats available after that date, registration for any resident of Clinton County will be taken until the bus is filled.

Register by calling 562-6860 or visiting the Recreation Office on Banker Road.

Senior Club plans snowshoe outing

SARANAC LAKE — The Will Rogers Senior Outing Club's January event will be snowshoeing at Dewey Mountain from 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 31.

Beginners are welcome, and hot chocolate and cookies will be offered. Snowshoes will be provided. Participants should dress warmly.

The program is free and open to the public.
