Farmer discussion group to meet
PLATTSBURGH — Cornell Cooperative Extension Clinton County, 6064 Route 22, Plattsburgh, will host a vegetable and small fruits farmer discussion group at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17.

There is no cost, but participants are invited to bring a dish to pass. Topics will include group purchasing and favorite seed varieties.

Farmer discussion groups have grown out of farmers' and farm families' need to create farming systems that better meet their unique needs, a press release said. The networks help farmers distribute information, offer moral and technical support, and share resource leads.

For more information, call horticulture educator Anne Lenox Barlow at 561-7450.
