Swim nights to resume in Plattsburgh
PLATTSBURGH — The Town of Plattsburgh Recreation Department will once again sponsor Open Family Swim at the Wellness Center at PARC, 295 New York Road, Plattsburgh, from 7 to 9 p.m. Fridays evenings Nov. 6 through March 2010.

The sessions are open to all ages, except for those in diapers. Cost is $2 for town residents and $4 for non-residents. Proof of residency is required, a press release said. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Certified lifeguards will be on duty, and while swimmers will have use of the locker rooms, they must bring their own towels. It is recommended that water shoes be worn.

For more information, call the Town of Plattsburgh Recreation Office at 562-6860 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
