Subscribers can select seating anywhere in the theater, enjoying the opera series at whatever vantage point is preferable at the price they wish to pay (ranging from $216 to $576 for the season). There is an additional season coach fee of $200. The first trip is Sept. 22.
“The Department of Music is proud to be at the heart of the cultural life in the Northern New York region,” Jo Ellen Miano, Plattsburgh State music faculty member and administrator of the opera outreach program, said in a news release. “We cherish our Culture Coach program and look forward to sustaining it. I look forward to welcoming new members to the program, now entering its ninth year. Many new friendships have developed among our family that travels together to see each season of operas.”
