Essex County sets July clinic schedule
ELIZABETHTOWN -- Well Child Clinics during July, conducted by the Essex County Public Health Department, will begin on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Ticonderoga Health Center. Another session will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at Essex County Public Health in Elizabethtown. An immunization-only clinic is set for 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at Moses Ludington Hospital in Ticonderoga. There is no charge up to age 19; with fees set for adult immunizations. No appointment is needed for immunizations, but for information, to make an appointment for a Well Child Clinic or lead screening, call 873-3500.
Vaccines available from Franklin Co. Public Health
MALONE -- Franklin County Public Health Services will hold the immunization clinics on Wednesday, July 9, and Wednesday, July 23, from 9 to 10 a.m. at 125 Catherine St., Franklin County Annex, Malone. A parent with current immunization records must accompany all children, who are eligible for vaccines if health insurance won't cover the cost otherwise. Health Services is unable to bill insurances for adult vaccines, which include Hepatitis A and B, TD, MMR, Menactra and HPV for ages 19 to 26; tDap through age 64; and the shingles vaccine for those older than 60. Gastric Bypass Group meets tonight
