Health Notes: Jan. 13, 2009

CVPH session to target health-care reform
PLATTSBURGH -- At 6:30 p.m. Thursday local pediatrician Dr. Heidi Moore will facilitate a discussion on health care. CVPH Medical Center is hosting the Health Care Community Discussion, to be held in the auditoriums on the ground floor of the Plattsburgh hospital, to offer some grass-roots input on how best to reform health care as the Obama administration gets under way in Washington, D.C.

Discussion will center on what is perceived to be the biggest problem in the health system, what is the best way for policy makers to develop a plan to address problems and other issues.

All consumers and providers of health care are welcome. For more information, call 562-7389.

Diabetes Group to meet Jan. 20
