JAY — Town of Jay Code Enforcement Officer John Hudson will not be in the office from March 18 through 25.
Hudson’s office will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, March 18, and then be closed until March 27.
NAC School Board to meet Monday
ELLENBURG — The Northern Adirondack School Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 18, in the District Office Conference Room for a public budget session.
An executive session associated with the performance history of particular employees and collective negotiations will take place at approximately 6:30 p.m. The board will reconvene for public-session business at about 7 p.m.
At the meeting, the board will recognize the John J. Herbert Scholar Athletes, the Iron Chef Jr. competition’s second-place winners and the directors, cast and crew of “All Shook Up.”
Spring coaches will be appointed.

Signs and banners discontinued at Clock Park
AuSABLE FORKS — The Black Brook Town Council has decided that signs and banners will no longer be allowed in Clock Park at the intersection of Route 9N and Main Street.
Yard-sale and garage-sale signs were not picked up in some cases, and the banners take away the view of the clock and the park, a press release said.
There is a signboard located in front of the Town Hall that can be used by any nonprofit organization.
LPCS Board to work on budget
LAKE PLACID — A regular meeting and a budget session of the Lake Placid Central School Board will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, in the Conference Room, Administrative Services Center, 50 Cummings Road, Lake Placid.
The meeting will take place first, with the budget session to follow.
A motion to go into executive session is anticipated to discuss special education and evaluation of specific personnel.
The regular meeting will begin immediately after.
Board meetings are open to the public.
ORDA Board to meet Tuesday
LAKE PLACID — The Olympic Regional Development Authority Board of Directors will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, at the Olympic Center.
The agenda includes the president’s report and a financial accounting from the Bonadio Group.
Saranac School Board to meet in Dannemora
DANNEMORA — The Saranac Central School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, at the District Office, Dannemora.
Agenda include a review of a second draft of the 2013-14 budget plan, a Technology Plan update, an Annual Professional Performance Review report and the employment of particular persons.

Moriah Central Board to discuss budget Tuesday
MORIAH — The Moriah Central School Board will hold a budget meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, followed by a regular board meeting in the High School library.
Items on the agenda include: budget discussion, policy changes, personnel discussions and appointment of spring coaches.

DANNEMORA — The Dannemora Village Board will hold a special budget meeting at the Village Office at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 20.

AVCS School Board agenda planned out
CLINTONVILLE — The AuSable Valley Central School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, at the Middle School-High School auditorium.
It is anticipated that the meeting will begin with an executive session. The regular meeting will include special-education recommendations, nominee for Champlain Valley Educational Services Board of Education member, adopting the school calendar for 2013-2014 and personnel issues.
The meeting is open to the public.
Village of Champlain changes April board meeting date
CHAMPLAIN — The regular monthly Champlain Village Board meeting scheduled for Monday,
April 8, has been rescheduled for Monday, April 1, at the Village Office, 1104 Route 9.
It will follow the annual organizational meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m.
The sessions are open to the public.
