---- — Clinton County Legislature to meet Thursday
PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton County Legislature will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Legislative Chambers, 137 Margaret St.
Agenda items include a votes on Northern Insuring as broker of record for 2013 property and casualty insurance, the annual Consolidated Transportation Grant application and giving the OK for the county treasurer to close various capital projects.
Fuel spill outside hospital entrance cleaned up
ELIZABETHTOWN — A diesel fuel spill at Elizabethtown Community Hospital was cleaned up last Thursday morning.
About 25 gallons of diesel fuel leaked from a Moriah EMS Squad ambulance parked outside the hospital’s emergency room receiving entrance, according to the Essex County Office of Emergency Services.
The ambulance had a ruptured fuel line, and Emergency Services and Elizabethtown Fire Department were called to the site at about 9 a.m. to initiate cleanup.
Dams were placed around storm drains in the hospital parking lot to contain the fuel, and it was recovered for disposal. The ambulance was removed for repairs.

Rouses Point Revitalization meeting canceled
ROUSES POINT — The Rouses Point Revitalization Committee informational session planned for Thursday, Jan. 3, has been rescheduled.
A new meeting date will be set in early January.
