Yardley to share healing stories
PLATTSBURGH — Fran Yardley, the Saranac Lake Storyteller, will perform "Finding a Place of Her Own, and Other Healing Stories of the Adirondacks" at Plattsburgh Public Library this evening.
The event, from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m., is part of the Library's "Cabin Fever Story Time Series" and will be held in the second-floor handicapped-accessible auditorium.
Yardley is a longtime storyteller specializing in stories that heal. She is a member of the National Storytelling Healing Alliance and helped create the "Adirondack Arts and Healing Retreat" held at Camp Sagamore annually to help women cancer patients and survivors.
