LPCS Board to reorganize

LAKE PLACID — There will be the reorganizational meeting of the Lake Placid Central School Board at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Administrative Services Center on Cummings Road.

Agenda items include election of board officers and appointment of district officers and other posts.

The session is open to the public.

 

No Keeseville Planning Board session in July

KEESEVILLE — The Keeseville Planning Board has canceled its meeting set for Tuesday.

The next session is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, in the Village Board Room at 58 Liberty St., Keeseville.

The public may attend.

Town of Chazy offices to close for holiday

CHAZY — The Town of Chazy Town, including the Town Court will be closed July 4 through 6 for the Independence Day holiday and reopen on July 9. 

In case of an emergency, call Town Supervisor Staub Spiegel at 726-0779.

 

Wilcox Dock not available during parade

PLATTSBURGH — Wilcox Dock will be closed to all boats on July 4 until after 4 p.m. due to the parade lineup.

Boaters can access the lake at the boat launch off Dock Street near the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

 

Chazy Town Clerk’s Office to be closed

CHAZY — The Chazy Town Clerk’s Office will be closed the week of July 2 to 5.

The town clerk will be on vacation.

The office will reopen Monday, July 9.

 

Full agenda on tap for AVCS Board

CLINTONVILLE — The AuSable Valley Central School Board will hold a reorganizational session at 6 p.m. Monday, July 2, in the Middle School-High School auditorium in Clintonville.

The board will consider the following: special-education recommendations, school-lunch prices, the public-library contract, services for preschool students, board policies and participation in BOCES Summer School 2012 and personnel issues.

The meeting is open to all.
