MALONE —
A Massena man was injured when he drove his motorcycle into the side of a car.
Malone-based State Police were called to Route 11 midday Friday after Todd Kirkey attempted to swerve into an eastbound passing lane of the state highway and crashed into Austin Seymour's Chevy, which was already in that lane.
Police said Kirkey's Yamaha crashed into the driver's side door of the 29-year-old Malone man's vehicle, causing his bike to topple to the ground.
The 42-year-old suffered leg injuries in the wreck and was taken to Alice Hyde Medical Center, where he was treated and later released.
No tickets were issued.
