PLATTSBURGH —
Two people were injured Thursday when their vehicles collided in the intersection of Route 9 and Thomas Macdonough Highway.
Plattsburgh-based State Police said Ethan Rice, 23, of Plattsburgh was driving south of Route 9 where he apparently failed to stop at the light and drove his Volkswagon into the westbound path of Kayla Taitt's F-150 truck.
Both Rice and Taitt, 19, of Morrisonville were injured during the T-bone crash and were taken to CVPH Medical Center, where their conditions were not immediately available Thursday evening.
A passenger in Taitt's truck was not injured.
Rice was later ticketed for failure to stop for a red light.
