Police Log: Feb. 3, 2012 — Personal-injury accident

FORT COVINGTON — A North Bangor woman was injured in an accident Wednesday.

Plattsburgh-based State Police said Alyce White, 31, was traveling north on County Route 42 in a 2007 Dodge Nitro when she lost control of her vehicle at around 9:56 a.m.

Police said White was traveling too fast for the slippery road conditions, exited the west shoulder and struck a ditch, overturning once and coming to rest on the wheels.

White was reported injured and was transported to Alice Hyde Medical Center where she was treated and released.
