---- — DANNEMORA — An inmate at Clinton Correctional Facility was arrested on felony charges.
Prison employees found a homemade facility weapon in the possession of John Robbin, 28, said State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation Investigator Daniel Lahue.
Robbin was transported to the Troop B State Police barracks in Plattsburgh and was arrested there at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 30 in accordance with a warrant issued by Clinton County Court. He was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon third, both felonies.
Robbin’s case is pending further court action.
