---- — AUSABLE — An AuSable Forks woman was arrested Friday on several charges related to an alleged burglary and drug theft, according to Keeseville-based State Police.
Police said a home at 10 Shaw Street was burglarized Friday; the homeowner reported prescription medications missing. A neighbor gave police the description of a suspicious car in the area and police later pulled over a car matching the description in the town of Black Brook.
Susan E. Dukett, 44, of AuSable Forks, was arrested at 6:54 p.m. on State Route 9N in Black Brook. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance, not in its original container; second-degree burglary, a felony; second-degree obstructing governmental administration; resisting arrest; and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Dukett was processed by State Police in Plattsburgh and remanded to the Clinton County Jail on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. She is scheduled to reappear in Black Brook Town Court on Wednesday.
