BEEKMANTOWN — Three people were arrested in connection with an alleged grand larceny.
Shaina S. Faubert’s mother gave she and her boyfriend, Colby D. Barton, 19, of Morrisonville permission to stay in her mother’s home on Golden Road in Morrisonville since her mother is living in a nursing home, Plattsburgh-based State Police said.
Faubert’s mother noticed some items missing from her home on Trim Road and later found the items in the Golden Road house on Dec. 31, police said.
The 21-year-old’s mother called police at about 7:50 a.m. and they arrested Faubert at 11:29 a.m. at 6483 State Route 22 in the Town of Plattsburgh that day. Faubert was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny of property valued at more than $1,000.
Police arrested Barton at 4:17 p.m. at 9 Dunning Way in Plattsburgh. Barton was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property valued at more than $1,000, a felony.
Keith P. Joy, 19, of Plattsburgh, was also arrested at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday at 6463 State Route 22. Joy had allegedly been selling some of the stolen items, police said. He was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor.
