Police Log: Nov. 21, 2012 — Felony arrest

DANNEMORA — An inmate at Clinton Correctional Facility was arrested on prison contraband charges.

According to police reports, a prison officer received confidential information that Edgardo Cucata, 29, might be in possession of a weapon. When Cucata was questioned, he allegedly surrendered a razor-type weapon.

The incident was reported to police at 1:38 p.m. April 17.

Cucata was arrested at 2:41 p.m. Monday and was charged with first-degree possession of prison contraband, a felony.

No further information was available.
