BEEKMANTOWN — A Plattsburgh woman was transported to the hospital after an accident Friday morning.
According to the Clinton County Sheriff's Department, Nancy Maynard, 71, was driving south on State Route 9 in the Town of Beekmantown at about 9:23 a.m. when she lost control of her 2007 Dodge Caravan.
Maynard's vehicle reportedly crossed the fog line with the right tires of her vehicle off the paved section of the road. Her vehicle then came back into the southbound lane before she lost control and slid sideways off the road. Her vehicle struck a tree with the driver's side door.
Maynard was transported to CVPH Medical Center and remained in stable condition Sunday.
No tickets were issued.
