PLATTSBURGH — Two tractor trailers were involved in an accident Friday.
Ray Brook-based State Police said Jecek Jewski, 56, of Altamont, was driving west on Route 374 in a tractor trailer at around 5:25 a.m. behind a tractor-trailer driven by James A. Gerhardt, 37, of Plattsburgh.
Jewski's vehicle was unable to slow down in time, so, attempting to avoid a collision, he crossed the double solid line and side-swiped Gerhardt's vehicle.
Injury information was unavailable at the time of this report.
