PLATTSBURGH — One person was injured Tuesday evening when her car overturned on a city street.
Plattsburgh City Police and firefighters from Plattsburgh City Fire Department and District 3 were called to Beekman Street at 6:15 p.m. when the one-car accident was reported.
The crash left the driver briefly trapped inside the vehicle, but crews were able to extricate her a short time later.
The unidentified woman was taken to nearby CVPH Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The accident caused a temporary closure of Beekman Street between Boynton and Bailey avenues as police worked to investigate the crash.
Further details about the accident were not immediately available Tuesday night.
