Police Log: Feb. 18, 2010 — Felony arrest

DANNEMORA — An inmate at Clinton Correctional Facility is accused of harassing an employee at the prison in April 2009.

Raszell Reeder, 39, was charged with felony aggravated harassment for allegedly harassing the employee.

The alleged incident was reported to State Police at 3:25 p.m. April 22, 2009.

According to New York State Department of Correctional Services records, Reeder has been at the Dannemora facility since 1999 and is serving a sentence of 15 to 35 years for criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment and aggravated harassment.

Records indicate Reeder was also convicted of attempted robbery in 1991 and served more than two years in a western New York prison before being released in the summer of 1994.

He was arraigned in Clinton County Court, processed and returned to the prison.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigation is handling the case.

No further information was available Wednesday.
