---- — AKWESASNE — Authorities are continuing to search for a missing Akwesasne man and are now asking for the public’s help.
Akwesasne Mohawk Police said Timothy John Benedict-Leaf, 19, was last seen on Cornwall Island Feb. 1.
Benedict-Leaf is 5 feet, 4 inches tall with a medium-tone complexion and thin build, weighing approximately 125 to 135 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to call Mohawk Police at (613) 575-2340. Those wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at (613) 575-2255 and may be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
Police said any information can be helpful to the investigation. Authorities declined to release any further information on the case Tuesday night.
