PLATTSBURGH — Authorities believe a Plattsburgh man received thousands of dollars worth of unemployment benefits he was actually ineligible for.
Plattsburgh-based State Police arrested Robert J. Russell Tuesday afternoon on charges of third-degree grand larceny and 13 counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing.
Police believe the 40-year-old collected about $4,392 he shouldn't have.
Russell was released on his own recognizance after his arrest.
