Sentencings: Nov. 26, 2009

Brent Deyo, 22, of Plattsburgh has been sentenced to one year in jail after pleading guilty to third-degree burglary.

Judge Patrick McGill also ordered Deyo to submit a DNA sample and pay a court fee and surcharge.

Mark Kiroy, 37, of Morrisonville must serve five years probation and complete 200 hours of community service after recently pleading guilty to felony aggravated driving-while-intoxicated.

Judge Patrick McGill also ordered Kiroy to electronic home monitoring and one night of participating in the Victims Impact Panel.

Kiroy must also pay an undisclosed fine and surcharge.

Cheryl Campbell, 50, of Ellenburg Depot recently pleaded guilty to felony DWI and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and has been sentenced to five years probation.

Judge Patrick McGill also sentenced Campbell to 75 hours of community service, one night of the Victims Impact Panel and ordered her to pay a fine, fee and surcharge.

Dana Poland, 48, of Plattsburgh must submit to electronic home monitoring after pleading guilty to felony aggravated DWI and failure to signal.

Judge Kevin Ryan also sentenced Poland to five years probation, fines, surcharges and community service.

Gene Vassar, 26, of West Chazy recently pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and has been sentenced to five years probation.

Judge Kevin Ryan also handed down a court surcharge and order of protection for the victim.

Davidson Beltran, 30, of Fishkill will spend 3½ years in prison after admitting to fourth-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance.

Judge Patrick McGill deemed Beltran a second-felony offender and also sentenced him to three years of post-release supervision.

Beltran must also pay restitution, fees, a surcharge and submit a DNA sample.

His license has been suspended.

Danielle Roark, 21, of Plattsburgh must spend 30 days in jail after pleading guilty to unlawful grand-jury disclosure.

Judge Patrick McGill also sentenced her to a court surcharge.

Peter Back Jr., 44, of Hogansburg has been sentenced to one-to-three years in prison after pleading guilty to felony DWI and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Judge Kevin Ryan also ordered Back to pay fines and a surcharge.

Back's license has since been revoked.

Joshua Goldstein, 22, of Plattsburgh must spend a year in jail after admitting to fifth-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance.

Judge Kevin Ryan also ordered Goldstein to submit a DNA sample and pay fines, surcharge and a fee.
