TUPPER LAKE — An early morning traffic stop led to the arrests of two people on drug charges.
Tupper Lake-based State Police stopped Randy L. Decker, 30, of Cold Brook and Shannon M. Travis, 26, of Ilion on Route 3 in the village around 3 a.m. and allegedly found them with more than 16 ounces of marijuana.
Both were subsequently taken into custody for second-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
They will reappear in court at a later date to face the allegations.
No additional information about their arrests was immediately available Friday morning.
