PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh woman is accused of providing a bad check for the purchase of a trailer.
Sonya L. St. John, 44, was arrested by Plattsburgh-based State Police at 2 p.m. Sunday and charged with third-degree grand larceny.
State Police allege that St. John wrote a check for $15,500, which she did not have available, and gave it to Dustin Anderson for the purchase of a trailer in Plattsburgh on Nov. 13.
She was arraigned in Town of Plattsburgh Court and released on the pre-trial release program. St. John was scheduled to reappear in court at 4 p.m. Monday.
