FELONY ARREST
PLATTSBURGH — A local man was arrested this week after he allegedly damaged a vehicle.

Plattsburgh-based State Police charged Nicholas Miller Thursday night with a single felony count of third-degree criminal mischief.

Authorities said the charge stems from a late-October incident in Dannemora, where the 24-year-old allegedly dented a vehicle.

Records appeared to indicate that Miller owned the damaged vehicle, police said Friday.

He was later released from custody and will reappear in court later this month to face the allegations.

PERSONAL-INJURY ACCIDENT
PLATTSBURGH — A pregnant woman suffered a minor injury Friday night in a two-car rear-end accident on Boynton Avenue.

City Police and emergency personnel were called to the intersection of Oak Street and Boynton Avenue at about 5:10 p.m.

An older Chevy truck and a Lincoln sedan were positioned in the middle of the road as police and emergency workers attended to the people involved in the crash, which was an apparent rear-end accident.

Clinton County Fire Control indicated that a pregnant woman was injured in the accident, although it was not immediately clear Friday night which vehicle she was in.

No further information was available Friday night.
