MINERVA — At least one person was injured in a one-car accident Dec. 28.

Shortly before 12:45 p.m., Chelsea Hammond, 22, was driving westbound on Irish Town Road when she allegedly lost control of her vehicle and struck a snow embankment, causing the car to spin, Lewis-based State Police said.

The injured parties were no specified in the police report.

Hammond was ticketed for speed exceeding the road conditions, police said.
