FORT COVINGTON — A Fort Covington woman was injured in a one-car accident Dec. 7.
At about 12:55 p.m., Carleen M. Soucia, 17, was traveling west on Foster Road near the intersection with Hutchins Road when she allegedly drove onto the dirt shoulder and over-corrected, steering to the left, bringing her car back onto the road, Malone-based State Police said.
Soucia over-corrected again, steering to the right and continued off the roadway, striking a power pole, police said.
Soucia was transported to Alice Hyde Medical Center where she was treated and released.
