CHAZY — State Police redirected traffic on Route 9 Wednesday night following a serious accident involving a motorcycle and vehicle in the hamlet of Ingraham.
A call was dispatched from Clinton County Fire Control just after 8 p.m. for emergency response to the scene.
As of 10 p.m., the area of Route 9 between Reynolds and Ingraham roads remained closed as emergency personnel investigated the scene.
Police tape lined sections of the area, and flood lights illuminated the scene, scattered with accident debris.
A car could be seen partially resting in the southbound lane of the highway.
