DANNEMORA — A Clinton Correctional Facility inmate was arrested for alleged possession of prison contraband.
Rafael Hernandez, 45, was brought to Dannemora-based State Police at about 1 p.m. Oct. 3.
Police said the arrest stems from a Jan. 6, 2011, incident where he was found with an illegal foreign object considered to be a weapon.
Hernandez was charged with first-degree possession of dangerous prison contraband and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies, in connection with a Jan. 6 incident at the prison.
No further information was available.
