---- — LAKE PLACID — A Lake Placid man was arrested on felony burglary and criminal mischief charges Sept 23. Brian L. Ordway, 28, of Lake Placid, was arrested at 11:15 a.m. following the investigation of a residential burglary where numerous items in an apartment were allegedly damaged and destroyed. Ordway knows the resident of the apartment in which he burgled and the incident resulted from a personal matter, according to a police statement. Ordway was arraigned in Village Court and released under the supervision of probation. A order of protection was issued for the victim. He was charged charged with second-degree burglary, a felony, and second-degree criminal mischief, a felony. No further information was available.
