MALONE — A local homeless man is accused of grand larceny.
Malone Village Police arrested Mark A. Crousore, 26, at 11:35 a.m. Sunday for allegedly stealing jewelry from a friend.
Police said Crousore took the jewelry from an apartment on Webster Street in Malone and tried to sell it at Cash4Gold inside the Holiday Inn.
He was charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony, and arraigned in Bangor Town Court.
Crousore was remanded to Franklin County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
Police said they are continuing to investigate the case.
