PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man faces a felony criminal contempt charge.
Wayne M. Potter, 34, was arrested for allegedly violating an order of protection during a dispute with this wife, according to Plattsburgh-based State Police.
He was taken into custody at 8:20 p.m. Aug. 2 near Wendy’s restaurant on Route 3.
Potter was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony. He was also charged with forcible touching and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.
He was arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court and remanded to Clinton County Jail on $250 cash or $500 bond.
Potter is scheduled to reappear in court at 4 p.m. Aug. 7.
