WILMINGTON — A Wilmington woman was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
Rose A. Broeckx, 60, crashed her car into a ditch along State Route 86 while allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol at about 9:30 p.m. Aug. 3, according to Wilmington-based State Police. She blew a 0.16 following the administration of a field sobriety test by police.
Broeckx was processed without incident and charged with DWI with a previous conviction within the past 10 years and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08 percent, both felonies.
She was also ticketed for moving from a lane unsafely and for unsafe backing of a vehicle.
Broeckx was released to a family member and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Wilmington Court at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 9.
