DUANE — A husband and wife from Constable were injured in a moped accident Saturday. Charles W. Gardner, 65, was driving a 2005 Honda moped north on State Route 30 near State Route 458 in the Town of Duane at about 7:30 p.m. Garner’s wife, Joyce M. Gardner, 64, was driving a different 2005 Honda moped behind her husband. Charles attempted to turn northeast into a parking area. Joyce failed to observe that her husband was turning and she crashed into his moped. Joyce was ejected from the moped and complained of shoulder and upper arm pain as a result of the accident. She was transported to Adirondack Medical Center where she was listed in stable condition Monday night. No tickets were issued.
