---- — PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man was arrested on a violation of probation warrant.
Spencer L. Decoste, 33, was taken into custody at about 10:25 a.m. Oct. 26 after Clinton County Sheriff’s deputies said they received a warrant for his arrest for allegedly violating terms of his probation, according to a statement from the Sheriff’s Department.
In June, he was sentenced to six months in jail, five years probation, restitution and a surcharge, after pleading guilty to two counts of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony.
Decoste was arraigned in Clinton County Court before being sent to County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
He is due back in court Oct. 28 at 10:30 a.m.
