PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh woman was arrested Feb. 28 on felony charges associated with check forgery.
Jenilee Gillespie, 30, allegedly stole checks from a man who reported the incident to police on Dec. 27, 2012, Chazy-based State Police said.
Gillespie was charged with nine counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument and second-degree forgery, both felonies.
She was arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court and sent to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash or $3,000 bond, police said.
Gillespie is due back in court March 14, police said.
