MALONE — A Malone man was arrested on a criminal warrant Feb. 26.
Shortly before 2:30 p.m., State Police spotted a blue Ford Taurus on U.S. Route 11 in the Town of Malone containing a person who police knew was wanted for arrest, Malone-based State Police said.
Police discovered that warrant had already been served but another person in the vehicle, Brandon C. Goring, 26, was wanted on a warrant, police said.
Goring is wanted in New Jersey for violating the terms of his probation stemming from a felony resisting arrest charge, police said.
He was charged with being a fugitive from justice, a felony.
Goring is being held in Franklin County Jail pending a extradition hearing, police said.
