PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh woman was arrested on felony grand larceny charges for allegedly stealing a wallet on Black Friday.
Shortly before 1:30 a.m. Nov. 23, a woman dropped a pouch-type wallet on the floor in Wal-Mart in Plattsburgh.
Samantha A. Zalusky, 22, allegedly picked up the wallet and took off with it, according to Plattsburgh-based State Police.
The incident was reported at 8:45 a.m. that day.
An investigation followed and police were able to identify Zalusky, police said. They arrested her at 2 p.m. Nov. 29 at the Plattsburgh State Police barracks.
Zalusky was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny of property valued at more than $1,000, a felony, and fourth-degree grand larceny of a credit card, a felony.
She was released on an appearance ticket.
