Police Log: July 22, 2012 — Felony arrest

MALONE — A Franklin Correctional Facility inmate was arrested on a warrant from Virginia on July 16.

Malone-based State Police said Frank Brown, 42, was already in custody when authorities were alerted that he was wanted in connection with a crime in Virginia.

He was charged with one count of being a fugitive of justice, a felony.

Police said he was produced from prison for booking on the felony charge and then returned to Franklin Correctional Facility after being processed.

No further information was available.
